Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania USA - A City Rich in History, Diversity, and Innovation

Located at the confluence of the Allegheny and Monongahela Rivers at the head of the Ohio River, Pittsburgh was once referred to as the "Gateway to the West." Easily navigable waterways with an abundance of natural resources helped Pittsburgh to become the industrial center for a growing nation and a major hub for coal mining and steel production.

The Pittsburgh of today has re-invented itself as the new hub for education, medicine, and technology, while remaining true to its ethnic diversity and rich immigrant history. Pittsburgh is now a must see city on the rise and constantly ranks on the top lists of travel enthusiasts.
  • # 7 on Travel + Leisure's international survey of best places to visit in 2016
  • One of top 10 cities where techies should consider, according to the Huffington Post
  • Voted as the 7th most friendly city in America by Travel + Leisure
